With the Den Braven Zwaluw Compress Band UN/C30-2 BG1 joint sealing tape, you effectively protect connection and expansion joints against harsh weather and driving rain. This pre-compressed tape is specifically designed to seal joint widths of 3 to 7 mm in window installations, masonry, and precast elements. Thanks to the practical self-adhesive backing, you can position the 10 mm wide tape quickly and accurately inside the joint. After installation, the elastic foam gradually expands up to a thickness of 20 mm to seal out drafts and moisture. Certified to the BG1 standard for durable outdoor performance, this 8 m roll provides immediate protection without curing time.

- Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 is an impregnated pre-compressed polyurethane foam joint sealing tape with soft foam with acrylate dispersion impregnation, accessory agents and filling agents. Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 is a one sided adhesive. After application the pre-compressed tape will expand slowly to fill the joint. At a compression of at least 30% of the maximum width the impregnated foam is watertight against driving rain up to 600 Pa.

Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 provides advantages when it comes to sealing connection joints and expansion joints between various building components, and when sealing foils in roof extensions, so they are windproof. Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 is specifically used in interior work for sealing connection joints due to its good sound insulation values. Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 on the roll can be universally used, and also be inserted in existing joints due to the pre-compression. Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 can be used in airtight or passive house details in combination with Zwaluw Compress Band 2D or Zwaluw Window Foil Interior.
